HIGHGATE CEMETERY Highgate Cemetery is best known as the last resting place of Karl Marx; and his grave is certainly imposing. But there's much, much, more to see. There are approximately 170,000 people buried in around 53,000 graves across the West and East Cemeteries. It's a cemetery when there's no church, otherwise a graveyard. I've divided the graves into categories which will be familiar to Trivial Pursuit enthusiasts.
