Empty Bookcase by Jan is de Man. The titles are real books. I presume DNR is an abbreviation for Doner Kebab and not Do Not Resuscitate!

This is a rarity - a genuine Banksy which has not been defaced or stolen. I took this picture the day after it appeared. The last time I passed by it was still intact - behind the inevitable Perspex screen.

Without care for what others have done On an equal opposing reply
Let your purpose begin Did planet earth bounce
From a place deep within By equal amounts
Driven by the beat of your own drum When the apple fell out of the sky?
There was an old codger named Finn Oh what a marvellous mind
With sticky red sauce down his chin The genius - Albert Einstein
He'd bought some baked beanz How he got it right
But with no other means Showing matter and light
Drank 'em straight out the tin Through the fabric we now call spacetime
William Morris
Refines fluttering fauna and vines
To nestle and pleat
And forever repeat
In his most exquisite designs

Kestrel and Magnolia Flowers is by Faunagraphic (Sarah Yates). She painted it for the 2020 London Mural Festival so it's good to see it hasn't faded or been defaced.

Tima
Mural street artists often use brickwork as a grid when mapping out their creations. But, having been pebble dashed, this wall really was a blank canvas. "Her works frequently depict women with closed, introspective expressions, seemingly detached from their surroundings" (ChatGPT). Tima's artwork is close to the former Walthamstow home of William Morris, now a splendid gallery/museum honouring him .....
Atma Studio
Morris knew a thing or two about decorating walls and would surely have approved of the many fine murals in this area, including Atma's portrait of him - with his wallpaper in the background - overlooking the car park.

God's Own Junkyard is a neon museum in an industrial estate in Walthamstow. It is a unique gem with the collection of signs providing a stunning backdrop for afternoon tea in the Rolling Scones Café. It also doubles up as a pub. Opening hours vary so check the website before visiting.
